Marilyn Sparks is an Insurance Advisor and Agency Owner serving the San Gabriel Valley, Los Angeles County, the Inland Empire and, more broadly, Southern California. She protects clients from San Jose to San Diego and out to the Desert communities.
It is her mission to protect the things and people that matter the most to you. She has had the privilege of helping hundreds of people, families and small business owners protect themselves and their assets from vulnerability and risk.

Marilyn’s happy place is helping others. She enjoys the opportunity to serve her community. It started as a volunteer at her children’s school and local Girl and Boy Scout troops. When her children went off to college, she remained involved in helping local youth and most recently joined the Board of Directors of McKinley, which compassionately transforms the lives of youth and families through innovative education, counseling and social services.
Marilyn has directed the local American Legion Auxiliary and Project Glendora Yellow Ribbon. She loves working with local chambers of commerce and female entrepreneur groups helping small business owners connect with each other through networking, job fairs and community engagement events.

In her spare time, she enjoys genealogy, scrapbooking, travel and laughter with friends and family.
Based on her work in the community and with small businesses, she was recognized in March 2020 as Woman of the Year by Los Angeles County and the Commission of Women. She was also recently named Small Business of the Year by the Glendora Chamber of Commerce.
In January 2020, Marilyn was appointed Insurance Commissioner of 22 cities and 87 unincorporated areas of Los Angeles County by Supervisor Kathryn Barger. In this role, it is Marilyn's responsibility to educate residents and business owners about proper risk management and the products that are available to protect their families and their property.
